My unwavering passion for people has been the compass guiding my professional journey and has ignited a desire to grow as a professional.

Post-graduation from Elon University, I embarked on a transformative chapter as a middle school math teacher through Teach For America. Teaching was not just a profession but a deliberate choice to impact the lives of young individuals while simultaneously fostering my leadership and communication skills. This experience taught me the art of effective communication and, more significantly, the intricacies of leading others.

Transitioning from education to the dynamic landscape of WeWork during a period of rapid growth marked the next phase of my career. Over five years, I immersed myself in daily interactions with customers, from selling office space to resolving operational challenges and ensuring an exceptional customer experience through innovative hospitality initiatives. Through my experience, I realized the paramount importance of keeping one’s pulse on customers as the heartbeat of any company.

Before pursuing my MBA at Rice University, I ventured into entrepreneurship by launching When & Where, a dating app that garnered over 800 downloads in its beta version. This hands-on experience provided me with insight into the day-to-day activities of product managers. I worked closely with engineers, designers, and marketers to ideate, build, and successfully launch a product into the market.

Beyond the professional realm, my passion for people led to the creation of an Instagram channel where I share content offering communication and relationship advice. In less than six months, the channel has amassed over 13,000 followers. Through my following, I’ve worked with individuals during 1:1 coaching calls to improve their social lives.

Looking ahead, my vision revolves around leveraging technology to better connect our world. As a soon-to-be MBA graduate, I aspire to drive the next wave of technological innovation to generate greater community.
